 Bihar is one of the oldest states of India which is famous for its ancient places and culture. The capital of Bihar is Patna. •Gaya

Whereas in Gaya it is believed that Gautam Buddha has attained enlightenment in this place under a tree, called the Bodhi tree. •Vaishali 

Vaishali is one of the ancient places which is famous for its archaeological sites and sacred places. Firstly the name Vaishali came from a king called Vishal who was once the ruler of this place. Other than this, Vaishali is the birthplace of Lord Mahavira who was the last Jain Tirthankara. That's the reason it is an important place for Jain people. •Nalanda 

This is a famous tourist place and one of the oldest universities in India. Both Gautam Buddha and Lord Mahavira spent most of the time in this place delivering lectures and meditating.
