•Gaya 

Gaya is one of the famous and sacred places in Bihar for both Hindu and Buddhist people. For Hindu people, Vishnupad Temple and Dungeshwari Cave Temples, etc are the sacred places to visit. Whereas in Gaya it is believed that Gautam Buddha has attained enlightenment in this place under a tree, called the Bodhi tree. Which is the most popular spot for Buddhist people and also the famous tourist attraction point. There are other places like Muchalinda lake, other monasteries, and caves that are famous spots to see. 

Vaishali 

Vaishali is one of the ancient places which is famous for its archaeological sites and sacred places. Firstly the name Vaishali came from a king called Vishal who was once the ruler of this place. Other than this, Vaishali is the birthplace of Lord Mahavira who was the last Jain Tirthankara. That's the reason it is an important place for Jain people. Vaishali is also a voyage place for people from other countries. The very famous Ashoka Lion Pillar and Stupa are situated in this place. 

Nalanda 

This is a famous tourist place and one of the oldest universities in India. Both Gautam Buddha and Lord Mahavira spent most of the time in this place delivering lectures and meditating. The place is famous for its archaeological sites like stupas, shrines, and viharas. Many Chinese travelers have visited this place and spent their time exploring and finding themselves. The ruins of Nalanda Mahavira are the reason for its popularity and now it comes under the UNESCO world heritage site. The beauty of these places is absolutely breathtaking. This state is preserving its heritage for many years and attracts tourists in a larger number every year.
